These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of the TaxMee website, TaxMee Desktop software, TaxMee Attendance, e-Library, free trials, paid subscriptions, licence activation, updates, support and related services. By accessing, installing, registering for or using any TaxMee service, you agree to these Terms.
Nature of Service
TaxMee provides software access, software-related services, updates, support and reference resources. TaxMee does not sell the software itself. Any amount paid by a user is for the limited right to access and use the applicable TaxMee software or service during the permitted trial, plan, subscription or licence period.
No Sale or Ownership Transfer
All rights, title and interest in TaxMee software, source code, designs, workflows, databases, interfaces, documentation, logos, brand assets, updates, improvements and related intellectual property remain exclusively with TaxMee or its licensors. Users do not acquire ownership, title, copyright, source-code rights, resale rights or any permanent right in the software by paying any price, subscription fee, activation fee, offer amount or renewal amount.
Limited Licence
Subject to payment, activation and compliance with these Terms, TaxMee grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence to use the software for your internal business purposes only. This licence is valid only for the authorised company, user count, device count, plan, module and subscription period approved by TaxMee.
Account Responsibilities
You must provide accurate information, keep login credentials and activation details confidential, restrict access to authorised users and promptly inform TaxMee of suspected misuse. You are responsible for all activity, data entry, output generation, filings, downloads, communications and changes made through your account, licence or authorised device.
Pricing, Payment and Taxes
Prices are charged only for software access, licence activation, subscription, renewal, modules, support or related services. Prices do not include any ownership transfer in the software. Applicable GST, taxes, payment gateway charges or bank charges may be payable in addition unless expressly stated otherwise. TaxMee may change prices, plans, features, offers or renewal terms prospectively.
Trials, Offers and Renewals
Free trials, introductory offers, limited-period offers and discounted plans may be withdrawn, modified, extended or refused at TaxMee's discretion. Offer eligibility may be limited to first-time users, specific products, specific devices or specific periods. Continued use after expiry requires renewal or paid activation.
Acceptable Use
- Do not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, resell, rent, share, sublicense or distribute TaxMee software or licence keys.
- Do not bypass activation, security, payment, device, user, company or subscription restrictions.
- Do not use TaxMee for unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, abusive, harmful or unauthorised activities.
- Do not introduce malware, disrupt service operation, overload systems or attempt unauthorised access.
- Do not upload or process data unless you have the lawful right and authority to do so.
Suspension and Termination
TaxMee may suspend, restrict, deactivate or terminate access, support, licence activation, updates or services if you fail to pay, breach these Terms, misuse the software, violate policies, create security risk, provide false information, infringe intellectual property, use the service unlawfully or act in a manner that may harm TaxMee, other users or the service. TaxMee may refuse future service where continued service is commercially, legally or operationally unsafe.
User Data and Backups
You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, completeness and backup of business, employee, payroll, attendance, compliance and statutory data entered into or generated through TaxMee. Where the software stores data locally or on user-controlled systems, you are responsible for maintaining device security, backup copies, antivirus protection, access control and disaster recovery.
Compliance Responsibility
TaxMee provides tools, forms, calculators, registers, reports, reminders and reference resources to assist payroll, HR and compliance workflows. TaxMee does not provide legal, tax, accounting or statutory advice unless separately agreed in writing. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs, applying the correct facts, verifying legal requirements, meeting deadlines and obtaining professional advice where required.
e-Library and Reference Content
Acts, rules, notifications, PDFs, articles, circulars and e-Library materials are provided for general reference and convenience. They may not always reflect the latest amendment, applicability, judicial interpretation or local requirement. Users should verify official sources and professional advice before relying on any legal or compliance material.
Support, Updates and Availability
TaxMee aims to provide reliable software and support, but availability may be affected by maintenance, updates, internet issues, third-party services, payment gateways, user devices, hosting providers, government portals or circumstances beyond TaxMee's reasonable control. Updates may add, change or remove features to improve security, compliance, stability or usability.
Third-Party Services
TaxMee may integrate with or link to third-party services such as payment gateways, email providers, messaging services, hosting providers, analytics tools, government portals or document viewers. TaxMee is not responsible for third-party outages, policies, charges, errors, data handling or content.
Confidentiality
Each party should protect confidential information received from the other party using reasonable care. You must not disclose licence keys, internal workflows, non-public product information, pricing arrangements or support materials except as authorised.
Intellectual Property Protection
TaxMee name, logo, software, UI, workflows, reports, templates, documentation, code, data structures and service design are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No user may claim any right in TaxMee software, remove proprietary notices or use TaxMee branding without written permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaxMee services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. TaxMee does not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, suitable for every business situation, compatible with every device or sufficient to meet every legal, payroll, tax or compliance requirement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaxMee will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential losses, including loss of profit, business interruption, data loss, penalties, statutory interest, filing delay, portal failure or reliance on incorrect user-entered data. TaxMee's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount actually paid by you to TaxMee for the specific service period giving rise to the claim.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold TaxMee harmless from claims, losses, penalties, costs, damages and expenses arising from your misuse of the service, breach of these Terms, unlawful data processing, inaccurate data, unauthorised use, violation of third-party rights or non-compliance with applicable laws.
Changes to Terms
TaxMee may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be available on this page. Continued use of TaxMee after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, courts and competent forums at Karnal, Haryana, India shall have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms or TaxMee services.
